Iron.io is a sponsor of HackTheMidwest, a hackathon in Kansas City on June 2nd & 3rd. Looks like it’ll be a great event with terrific prizes, sponsors, and 100+ developers from the Midwest. Michael Gelphman from Kansas City IT Professionals is producing it. He has an 8500+ strong membership to draw from so we expect some big things from the set of teams.
Iron.io is giving away a Go Pro HD Hero2 camera as a prize for the best solution using Iron.io APIs. Whether it’s using IronWorker to crawl web pages or scale out image processing or using IronMQ to collect sensor data or coordinate events between processes, we’re excited to see what developers from the heartland will create.
Iron.io will be presenting at Synergy2012 on Wed, May 9th. It’s Citrix’s premier customer conference and will be focusing on cloud computing, virtualization, and networking technologies. The conference is May 9-11 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.
